When one was a kid, digital cameras and photo scanners were really hot things. You could photograph your whole coin collection, or scan every single page of a comic book, and it all goes into the computer! All the possibilities, all the things you could do with them, if only you had such luxury at home...

Nowadays, having both is pretty standard, and it sure ain't very different from back then. They're there when you need them, and the digital camera has steadily taken over the throne of daily usage from paper photographs, but it's not like one actually follows all the dreams and proposals that were built up. All my various collections still stand undocumented, despite the availability of both a digital camera and a photo scanner. All the possibilities, all the things you could do with them, if only you could bother...
